ALYSSA began her dance career at a local dance studio when she was two years old and found her home at Denville Dance Arts Center as a competition dancer while in high school. Alyssa has been trained in numerous styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern. While in High School, Alyssa attended the Morris County Visual & Performing Arts Academy where she thrived in performing and choreographing. Alyssa began her college career at Towson University where she was accepted to their performance company as a freshman. Alyssa also choreographed a group piece which was selected to be a part of the university’s Dance Major’s Performance Project.
She has since continued her college career at Montclair State University where she has trained with faculty such as Karen Gayle of Alvin Ailey, and Lonne Moretton of Steps on Broadway. When she graduates she will have her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a dance education and performance concentration. Throughout college, Alyssa has taught students of all ages in various styles, and choreographed award winning pieces for the competition dancers of Denville Dance Arts Center.
