Infinite Motion Performing Arts Academy

MISSION
STATEMENT

The Pendulum Project is a New Jersey based dance company produced by Infinite Motion Performing Arts Academy. We are committed to celebrating artistry and individuality, while upholding a level of professionalism and respect. With a strong focus on technique, movement quality, and story-telling, our dancers are invited to explore the depths of their expression in a safe and supportive environment.
We are seeking working professionals looking for an additional space to train and perform, as well as advanced pre-professional dancers at or above the college level. We aim to bridge the gap between higher education and industry training for artists who are looking to hone their craft. Our goal is to create a space for dancers to refine their technique and branch out to become stronger, well-rounded, and confident performers.
The company season runs from mid-October to early June, including weekly training in a wide range of styles including tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop. Company members train, on average, 5-6 hrs per week under the direction of Alicia Gavzy and Clauds H. Stein. In addition to the project directors, the professional faculty at Infinite Motion and guest choreographers are brought in on a rotational basis to set work and train the company.
We aspire to bring works to events both self-produced as well as outside festivals and showcases. While our core values are aligned with the traditions and professionalism of the performing arts, we strive towards uniqueness and boldness to set us apart in the industry. Fostering a growing community of like-minded individuals is our top priority, and making meaningful art is at the core of who we are.
